FOR ORGANIZATIONS
Culture is what becomes possible between people.
Culture lives in how people relate, make decisions, share responsibility, navigate tension, and care for one another. It takes shape in everyday choices, especially when the work becomes demanding.
Movement Makers partners with organizations seeking greater alignment between what they believe, how they lead, and what people experience within the work.
Through culture and leadership development, strategic advising, coaching, and facilitation, we create space to understand what is happening and practice what comes next.

The work is changing. How you work together can change with it.
Growth can stretch relationships and structures that once served you well. A leadership transition can surface questions about identity, authority, and direction. People may share a commitment to the mission while experiencing the organization very differently.
Sometimes there is tension to work through. Sometimes there is a possibility people are ready to build toward.
This partnership may fit when:
- Growth is asking for clearer roles, decisions, and ways of working.
- A transition is changing what people need from leadership.
- Important conversations are being avoided or repeatedly left unresolved.
- Stated values and daily experience have begun to drift apart.
- Urgency is leaving little room for reflection, connection, or renewal.
- A shared vision needs the relationships and structures to become lived.
We begin with what the organization is experiencing and what people already know, care about, and make possible together.
AREAS OF PARTNERSHIP
People, relationships, and structures belong in the same conversation.
An unclear role can become a strained relationship. An unspoken expectation can shape a decision. A leader’s capacity can affect the pace of an entire team.
Our partnerships attend to these connections through a combination of:
Culture and leadership development
Working with the everyday practices that shape how people lead, communicate, share power, and carry responsibility.
Executive and leadership coaching
Creating sustained space for leaders to examine their choices, navigate complexity, and remain connected to themselves and the people they lead.
Strategic and organizational advising
Bringing perspective to consequential questions about direction, priorities, roles, decisions, and organizational change.
Facilitation and alignment
Holding conversations where people can name what is true, understand different perspectives, work through tension, and establish shared commitments.
Movement building
Bringing people around a shared intention and developing the language, relationships, structures, and action that allow it to grow.
The combination is shaped around the organization’s needs. Coaching may accompany culture work. A retreat may open a longer partnership. Advising may support the decisions that follow.
HOW THE WORK UNFOLDS
Understand what is here. Practice what comes next.
Listen
We learn the organization’s context through conversations, interviews, observation, and relevant materials. We listen for strengths, histories, tensions, and perspectives that may not yet have a shared place to be heard.
Make visible
We reflect what we are noticing in language people can recognize and work with. Together, we examine patterns, clarify differences, and surface questions that need attention.
Align
We clarify what matters, who holds responsibility, how decisions will be made, and what people are agreeing to practice together. Alignment makes room for difference while creating enough shared understanding to move.
Engage
The work takes shape through the agreed combination of coaching, advising, facilitated conversations, learning, and changes to how the organization operates.
Integrate
We return to what people are experiencing, what has changed, and what still needs attention. We clarify the commitments, ownership, and rhythms that will carry the work forward.
This is a responsive process. What we learn together shapes where attention goes next.
THE SHAPE OF PARTNERSHIP
Enough structure to be clear. Enough room to respond.
An engagement may begin with focused discovery, a facilitated gathering, or a sustained organizational partnership. Its shape depends on the people involved, the season you are navigating, and the depth of work required.
Before we begin, we agree on the scope, participants, rhythm, responsibilities, deliverables, and investment. That may include interviews, leadership sessions, retreats, written reflections, practical agreements, and follow-through.
When the need changes, we revisit the scope together.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE
Let what matters become visible in how people work together.
Organizational partnership can support:
- Clearer roles, responsibilities, and decision-making
- More honest communication and shared understanding
- Greater alignment between values and daily practice
- More room for people to participate, contribute, and exercise choice
- Greater capacity to work through tension and change
- Rhythms that sustain both the people and the purpose of the work
The work asks something of everyone involved. Insight becomes meaningful through the choices, agreements, and practices people carry into their everyday work.
WHO HOLDS THE WORK
Led by Sean Goode. Shaped through relationship.
Sean Goode leads Movement Makers partnerships, drawing on lived experience as a founder, executive leader, coach, facilitator, strategic advisor, and former executive director of CHOOSE 180.
When an engagement calls for additional perspective, experience, or capacity, trusted collaborators join the work with clearly defined roles.
You will know who is involved, what they are responsible for, and how we will work together.
Begin with what your organization is living now.
Tell us what is happening, who is involved, and what you want to become more possible. You do not need to arrive with a finished scope.
The first conversation creates space to understand the need, consider fit, and identify a useful next step.
